Thanks so much for this! I subscribed, and ordered the foam. It's so sad to see the YouTube vids that instruct people to just sew two pieces of cotton together and call it a mask that is protective!!
HI.. thanks so much for a great tutorial.. I'll be having a go this weekend. Is there a written instruction please? I am taking my sewing machine away with me for our holiday in the caravan and may not have wifi!! Looking forward to catching more of your tutorials xx
I'm here on hard things to make. You sure desirve subscriber's comments Tracy. Stay around. 😉
This is a great mask! It is really well made. Thank you.
So pretty! I’d wear this one!
Are there written instructions anywhere? I don't have a way to see video while at sewing machine.
How do I get a pattern please?
Hi, I am really glad to try the mask but wondering if the foam you use is like styrofoa or foam like mattress foam.
I enjoyed your Video so Easy directions and much simpler than others that I watched tried and they were epic fails. I am gathering my supplies to make some will let you know how it comes out. Very nice I ordered a couple kits to start out with to see if I am successful at making them lol. I have a machine and well we shall see. Thank you for posting this. Is there a way to add a filter pocket. As my son needs one with a filter let me know I subscribed to you also. and shared thanks
where do I get the pattern to print out?
It was easy enough to follow the tutorial. I've already made four and they fit quite well.
Done! Great Video, Thank YOU!
Love your tutorial. Thank you for sharing.
This is a beautiful mask. Thank you so much for the test. Everyone should make this mask.
Since a top stitch introduces more holes, is there a reason why the opening needed to turn the mask right-side out isn’t on one of the wings? That seems to be a less vulnerable area than near the base of the mask. Also, I use to top stitch all my masks, but no more! Thanks for the common sense behind no top stitch. Great video!
Tracy, I have an Olfa 28 & 45 rotary blade, and I've noticed that after cutting multiple layers of fabric, the blade gets dull quickly, to where I'm having to sharpen it frequently. Am I doing something wrong?
Or perhaps I'm not using the blade sharpener correctly. I would appreciate your best guess as to what the problem might be. Thank you!!
Help! I want this mask but I don’t have a printer. Any particulars on the dimensions?? P
I tried adding the wire from a bag of flavored coffee (suggested from a previous video). It makes the mask fit so much more snugly on the nose! Way better than a pipe cleaner or the Dollar Tree floral wire. I haven't tried this yet.
Tracy, do you have any recommendations on fabric or composition of the facemask, to where a person doesn't sweat? We have high humidity on the South Carolina coast at this time of year.
I was in the grocery store, and could not wait until I got to my car, to remove the mask. Reaching for my A/C control, I thought that there must a cooler type of fabric, or doing something different for the pocket filter. I have been using either fusible interface on the inside of the filter pocket, or Halyard medical fabric (what the Surgeon's use).
I am using either 100% premium cotton, and/or Quilter's cotton.
I would also appreciate any feedback from your other subscribers. Thank you!!
Love that you keep working on it!!! I round out the pattern cut two and avoid cutting on the fold. The flatness isn’t comfortable on many faces.
Excellent tutorial.!!! I have subscribed and will be ordered on ebay as soon as I finish. One of the best fit and constructed mask I have come across. We will start making some of them once we receive our kits. God bless you, thank you for you sharing and caring. I am a nurse and get so upset with some of the mask that is out here for people who really need protection. Again thank. So happy I found you channel
Do your glasses fog?
Do you sell this mask ?if so I would love to purchase a couple pretty plz, you've made the mask so beautiful:)
My 14-year-old grandson has a slight asthma or a little breathing problem so he doesn’t like to use the mask because it’s a bit hard to breathe. He quarantines very in not going out but will go to the store and back. I’m trying to find firm material are those cloths ones you buy at the grocery store. Something that can be made not close to the face to have more breathing room help😩 and thank you 🙏
Thank you for being very thorough and detailing on how to go to the links. I never knew that before even on other channels LOL. And you’re upfront and honest. I always wonder how people get paid because this is time consuming, and to be able to put out tutorials every week, you deserve to be paid, it doesn’t hurt to hit a little O like an prescribe button. I’m happy to learn, you blessing me I’m blessing you as as well.
I have enjoyed this tutorial and thank you for explaining it so well . Also thank you for the measurements.

Hi I just placed an order and I didn't notice that my address is wrong. I can't change as I had already pressed pay. Help.
Where do u get the 2.5 inch fabric bond?
Where did u feat the stitch Witchery 2.5 inch tape?
Hi question for you please. Why did you not want the 3 1/2 half piece of extra fabric not bonded all the way down and just on the sides? Thank you.
Is the foam you are using weather stripping? Thanks for the tutorial!
I went to buy a kit or two from your eBay, but I didn’t see the heat bond included in the sets. Is that included, or can I buy some? Thanks, I appreciate your content.
Shipping was so fast! Thank you! I’ve already left feedback. 🙂 (You’re the only reason I’m on eBay lol)
