I would rather wear nothing, but it is against the law. I'll stick to the zero filter, zero protection, comfortable breathing. It's not like anyone has proven these masks do anything. The "peaceful protestors" all wore masks and the virus spiked. I think that disproves the masks aren't worth much protection. Hows about you do some tests to gather FACTS and EVIDENCE on how this virus spreads and STOP GUESSING?
I love no-sew T shirt masks! (I'm pretty handy with my sewing machine, but I like quick and easy!) I'd just like to mention that it's a great idea to make straps from the bottom hem of a T shirt. However, that's only gonna give you 1 or 2 sets of straps. Once you've cut off the hem, you can make additional straps, cutting approx. 1" wide strips VERTICALLY (bottom of shirt towards neck). Cutting the strips in that direction allows the knit fabric to "roll" properly into narrow straps, to either loop around the ears, or longer straps to tie behind the head. I made a BUNCH of narrow straps from just the front half a T shirt to substitute for elastic in the woven fabric masks I've made for family members.
Saw similar pattern but only cut hemline strip once to result in one long strip. Put that strip around neck with ends on your back behind your neck and tie loosely to hold in place. Take sleeve and lay on chest so the opening for the shoulder is closer to your neck and hemmed sleeve edge is closer to your stomach. Then, thread hem strip loop through that sleeve as it lays. Pull that loop over your head and just above ears; adjust sleeve down over nose and mouth. Retie the strip ends behind your neck to make mask fit closer to face. Done this way, you can slide the mask down without untying it when you're closed up in your car.
Cut small slits in the sides of the mask, interweave the straps so you can adjust size and fit. Tie first strap at back of your neck, second tie should go on top so that it pulls the bottom of the mask tight. π·
This video gets the award for the simplest, yet effective and easy to do to make a mask. For a person like me with no skills, I believe that I can do it. Thank you so much. Thumbs up!
Meanwhile it had no filter so itβs useless. Virus can penetrate right through into your nose and eyes.π€¦π½ββοΈ HOW ARE HUMANS THIS MINDLESS!?!!

Just what I was looking for. I appreciate the simplicity and straight to the point. Introducing your fur-baby was a bonus! πΎπ
I'm about to make one but I would hand stitch the bottom of it or sow it down and leave a hole at the top to change out the filter.
