From CDC link above: [The CDC knows] from recent studies that a significant portion of individuals with [CV] lack symptoms (βasymptomaticβ) and that even those who eventually develop symptoms (βpre-symptomaticβ) can transmit the virus to others before showing symptoms.
***This means that the virus can spread between people interacting in close proximityβfor example, speaking, coughing, or sneezingβeven if those people are not exhibiting symptoms.****
In light of this new evidence, CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies) especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure.

Are people supposed to shoplift these materials to make it free?
My mom knowed how to make a Mask and this viedo was cool
Thanks for this. My husband is still working as a delivery driver and we're trying to figure what he can use for more protection.
Thank you for your videos. You guys are just so cute….stay safe
Are these a one time use then throw away or reusable?? My husband is still out working on construction n needs to wear something, this is the easiest n no sewing machine needed I have found π TIA
I tried – but my bands wonβt stay around my ears. Lol I guess I have small ears. I need something to tie around my head.
Great video! Letβs stop listening to government officials, CDC, WHO, etc and listen to plain common sense. Iβve worn mask for the last THREE weeks because itβs plain obvious that if someone coughs in your direction without covering their mouth and their droplets is flowing in your direction, your mask will protect you from breathing in most of those droplets. Obvious! I donβt know why people waited for the government to tell them that itβs OK to wear mask or scarfs in public. Stop being lost sheep people, and think for yourselves. Did I say great video?
This is such an awesome tutorial, Kim. So innovative! Thank you!
My oldest daughter works part time running the drive thru at KFCπ© I know she needs to b wearing a mask, like ASAP! Thanks for the video. Iβll use this method until I can figure out how to sew one.
Thank you!!! I shared!!
We canβt find bandannas so my
Mom used kitchen towels and she has sewing machine so brought her thread I could find and other fabrics.
Sheβs gorgeous
Just made mine! I used a new unused pillowcase to make it and I had a bunch of hair ties. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! Super easy!
Hello πβ€οΈπ
Thank you for the tutorial. I am not crafty at all so this is very helpful. Iβm going to try and make some tonight, I have tons of bandannas! Thanks for helping us during this crazy time!
This will be great even after all this! I can use it for gardening and mowing the lawn! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I will definitely try it. Stay happy, healthy, and safe.πβ€
Great video Kim! God bless π
Wow, thank you, Kim
Your common sense and calm yet informed approach to this madness has been so good for me. Thank you.
I tried this idea this morning. Totally worked and easier to keep on than tying it behind your neck. I wore a tied bandana to WM and the Vet last week and i looked like a cowgirl bank robber. Actually when I use to help hubby mow I would wear one to cut down on pollen and dust in lungs. Anyway great demo!
NO mask in sweden
Nice, will try this method, tfs.
Thank you. β€
Nothing special everyone is doing this even in my back home .
Great idea and I love this scarf. Th red side looks like shark teeth. π
Great Idea and easiest way to make a mask, all the DIY videos I've watched required sewing. My kids just watched your videos and they are already looking for the materials we need, even though we don't leave the house they want to wear one outside while playing basketball or like they say " just because we don't know if the air is infected too lol. Thanks for sharing.
I did thia. But ita too thick. It gave me a panic attack. I felt like I was being smothered by a rapist (ptsd flash back that i really didnt wanna relive today)
Can you breath ok thru this? Great idea π tfs ππππππ
I told my kid do not use the blue or red bandanna. π€πΎπ€πΏ we ain't in gang!
