Great video. Can you use a different PD file, instead of Cricuts?
This is my first project with a Circuit Maker. Thank you for the video. You made this project is easy for me. You are a great instructor for beginners. Will be watching all your videos.
Thank you so much for actually showing how to use the sewing machine and not just hold the fabric and say "I sewed here here and here." Absolutely hands down easiest to understand tutorial! You rock
Is this cricket explore air 2
sees note Wait, does that mean that the Cricut Face Masks might not protect you from COVID-19?
You are amazing! Great volume and perfect demo. I just started with Cricut video and got all messed up! Found yours and back on track! Thanks so much!
Great video to go along with the pattern. Very well explained.
So u have to cut first then sew so I need 2 machines
When I tried to do it my machine kept catching the fabric how do I fix that
Can I use my air 2 with the fabric blade o make these or do I have to have the maker?
Easy to understand tutorial..everything was going so good until I got to the end…I have to find a way to salvage, there is no way I am leaving the raw edge.
I think I missed it but Where did you get your fabric from?
Hi where can I get the cricut
What was the name of the tool you used to smooth out the fabric onto the cutting board?
I am new to the Cricut world. 🙂 Can you use the fabric blade to cut these? This tutorial is one of the best I've seen. Thank you. 🙂
This was pretty cool! I wish I was this dexterous when I comes to this type of stuff I spent $50 for a box of masks that’s going super fast!
What is everyone using as a filter inside the mask?
Do you have a video where it show how to mirror your design like you did?
Can you print out a name and place it on the mask or would it have to be ironed on?
Great Video!!! Explained each step thoroughly and I could really understand what you were doing. Definitely saving this for when I buy my machine!!!
I don’t know how to exactly explain this but if you want to keep a pocket for a filter It isn’t working for me. When you turn it around the outside fabric where the casing is is higher but because of the seam folds down a little so how do you add the elastic? Anyone else have that problem?
For the life of me i can’t seem to cut fabric on my machine. I have flattened and rolled the heck out of it but when it cuts it bunches and it doesn’t cut all the way through. I’m using the same fabric in this video. Like to i need to super glue the thing down. 😢. So sad cause this was supposed to be a new adventure in my crafting
Where can I get the little iron ?
Love the video! I would prefer the elastic to go around my ears though but just me.
Very nice! Thank you.
Great tutorial!
Is this reversible?
Great video!
What brand and type of market is this?
Nice video…. thanks for clarifying the written instructions. Suggestion: Why not turn over the ends of the OUTSIDE liner AFTER you have sewn the top and bottom seams? This way, and the written instructions too leave a raw edge on the casing wear it will be getting the most wear and tear and has an unprofessional finished edge. I thought I had made a mistake, but nope…. same as shown in this video. Just a suggestion.
Yaaay!!
Is there a different blade other than the fabric blade that you are using? Rotary blade?
GOD BLESS U
I have the Cricut Air 2. Given that items needed are non-existent locally I had to order online. Still waiting for the FabricGrip mat, roller and pen. However, I tried with the fabric bond blade and regular cricut pen. The first 3 masks were cut on the purple standard mat (bad idea!) I ruined the mat and idk of I ruined the blade as well. Going to order another blade and wait for my pink mat. They're not hard to make though. My sowing machine is crap so hand sowing was faster. Sewing machines are non- existent either, unless you want to spend $300+ and wait weeks for it to arrive!
I don't have a maker…i have the explore…is there a way to make a cardstock template..TFS
Hi what sowing machine are you using?
Is this only for the Maker? I've got the Explore Air 2 and the only facemask project I see from Cricut is to make cardstock templates. Can something like this be made with the Explore? Thanks!!
I love this! I need to learn how to sew, you think this will work with heat and bond?
Do you have to have the Maker for this project?
nice tutorial tfs hugs
Love the video! I’ve made 30 or so masks this week using my Maker! I would suggest, if you aren’t sewing them for large quantities, sewing in some type of metal piece around the nose area so you have a more universal fit and a tighter seal when wearing it! If you’re doing it to send out as many as you can then adding in the metal piece does add a few minutes to each mask so I don’t know if everyone is willing to do it. Stay safe everyone. 😊
Tip: I have allergies and walking into a store that sells cloth it's a sneezing nightmare, (it's the formaldehyde used in the starch to keep the material pressed), so I suggest you wash the cloth first, then make the face mask, since it's going to be right at your nose. Keep safe, stay inside.
Are you feeling better?
I started on making this, just need to finish it. Tfs❤
Question.. ive only used my fabric mat once, but I’ve seen people use wax paper with fabric.. is that to help it stick better to the mat?
Would love to try it… I unfortunately gave my sewing machine away not long ago…
