In this short tutorial, I will show you how to sew a
Face Mask to be used for personal protection in public.
For this project I used cotton fabric, 2 pieces measuring
6″ x 9″
For securing the mask, there are a few options:
Sunglass cords (croakies) as I have used here
Shoelaces
Sewing Elastic
Ribbon
I found that 13″ for tying the face mask behind the head is appropriate length or 6.5″ if you are attaching elastic to stretch behind the ear.
*This mask does not include a slot for a filter and will not guarantee any protection against viruses.*
